Holiday Challenge:
Reward Your Good Behavior With A Mini Spa Date.
Have you weighed yourself this week? Stay committed to maintain regardless of the number on the scale. Don’t let one weigh-in derail your good intentions. If you’ve gained a little then don’t beat yourself up about it. Reward yourself for any and all effort that you’ve made towards your personal goal.
Pamper Yourself
Spend a night at home and treat yourself to a mini-spa date.
Take a long hot bath and while you’re in the tub wash your hair and slather on conditioner or a hair mask of mashed avocado and a little coconut oil.
For a soothing, natural facial mask whiz 2 tablespoons of oatmeal with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/4 cup of plain yogurt. The honey is an antibacterial and antioxidant rich serum and the yogurt has milk acids that serve as a mild exfoliant. Give your face a light scrub and then allow the mask to stay on your face while you relax. Rinse hair and face in clean water. Wrap yourself in a fluffy towel then moisturizer from head to toe.
Have a cup of camomile tea and relax. You will feel rejuvenated and ready to take on the holiday season. You deserve this.
If you need a quick spa treatment and allover scrub, make a sugar scrub by combining any granulated sugar and olive oil or warmed coconut oil to form a paste. Scrub your body in the shower and follow with a moisture rich body gel to cleanse. Be careful because the shower will be slippery.
Namaste
I actually have my annual physical tomorrow. That is a great way to watch your weight between Thanksgiving and Christmas! š I love the idea of a home spa night too.

I’m glad you’re going. No one likes to go to the Doctor but I still believe in preventative medicine. I hope you’re in tip top shape Julie. Thank you for commenting.
